Paso Robles is Morphing into a Creative Community Bringing Real Estate along for the Ride
Yes, you heard it right. Our small sleepy town, Paso Robles, has been taken over by creative humans! And what's really neat about morphing into a creative community besides just being an awesome place to live is that in most cases the real estate values strengthen. A creative community welcomes differences in race, religion, politics and opinions and seems to attract educated and inspired people. All you need to do is come downtown on a Friday night and people watch. Lively conversations are flowing, Frisbees are flying in the park, and the mood is vibrant. When someone considers moving into a new community like Paso Robles their subconscious mind is calculating if they will be accepted.
The more diverse and friendly a community a higher likelihood they will feel welcome. To keep a creative community thriving you need to stimulate the senses! I look out my office window towards the city park and smile. Many of the restaurants that have decided to root here offer the truly unique cuisine creative people crave. Artisan is the first that comes to mind. Not only have they won awards for their mouth-watering creations they inspire people to try new flavors. My other top picks include IL Cortile, Berryhill Bistro, Odessey, and Thomas Hill Organics. Not the same- old, same-old here! Down the street, Studio's on the Park, where many talented artists paint, draw and sculpt right in front of onlookers might just give you the push you need to create some art yourself. And a real community connector has been the Friday night Concert in the Park. It soothingly beckons both the locals and the tourists to relax together and embrace our balmy summer evenings. The Paso Robles Lavender Festival, Olive Festival, car shows, wine festivals, Christmas on Vine Street, and so much more add to our creative mindset. Many of the tourists that come here for one of our numerous creative venues make the move by buying or renting Paso Robles real estate. And the morphing continues.
